We have been invited to continue exploring the sound/body project LATIRSINCRÓNICO in the artistic residence of CC Convent de Sant Agustí, Barcelona (Catalonia). This journey began with the collaboration with dinamo DIY espai for the realization of the wireless sound amplification equipment and its technical experimentation in the chapels of the Sant Agustí Convent in Barcelona (Catalonia). We then had an artistic residency at El Lobi in San Juan (Puerto Rico) where we presented the performance LATIRSINCRÓNICO sinfonía corporal after taking this research to the limit, directing it towards the search for different states of being.  Now in this artistic residency of the Convent de Sant Agustí we open ourselves to new possibilities and walks that seek plastic and visual materiality from the sound vibration of the heartbeat.

LATIRSINCRÓNICO

is a sound/body project that proposes the experiment of creating cardiac melodies from the sound of two hearts. Through physical, emotional and spatial alterations, this research involves an exploration of heart rates and intensities both individually and in relation to the other person’s heartbeat. Latirsincrónico explores musicality in synchronous and discordant rhythms; in the effect of affective interaction between two people; in physical reactions to various external stimuli; and in the influence of thought, emotions and memories.
